"Mami Wata" or "mother water", is the goddess of the ocean. She is said to appear as a beautiful mermaid that is mysterious, seductive, and dangerous. I have been in love with the ocean and her mysterious beauty for as long as I can remember. The name "Mami Wata Fishing" and all of the products I design are an ode to her.

As a rod builder and lure maker, I started this company because of the joy it brings me to see other people catching fish using the tools that I designed for them. My company aims to provide high quality and good looking fishing gear at the best price possible, so that everyone can enjoy the ocean that we love so much.
